What our website is for

Our website is a tool to help homeowners and property owners in our service area learn about our services, see examples of our work, request a quote, and contact us. It is not a contract for service — booking a job happens through a separate quote and confirmation process by text, email, or phone.

The Smooth Finish Promise

We feature a guarantee on our website called The Smooth Finish Promise. This guarantee is real and we stand behind it for every job we perform. The specific terms of the guarantee are:

• If a stain, streak, or area you hired us to clean is still visible after we leave, we will return and re-wash that area at no additional cost
• If after returning we still cannot achieve the result you wanted, you will not be charged for the work
• Additionally, on soft-washed surfaces, if algae, mildew, or that black film returns to the cleaned area within 90 days of our service, we will return and re-wash that area at no additional cost (this is referred to as the "90-Day Curb Appeal Guarantee")

This guarantee applies to:

• Surfaces we agreed to clean as part of the original quote
• Conditions described in the original quote

This guarantee does not apply to:

• Surfaces or stains that were specifically excluded from the original quote
• Surfaces that have been altered, painted, sealed, damaged, or otherwise treated by another party after our service
• Damage caused by weather events, pets, vehicles, or third parties occurring after our service
• Cosmetic conditions in the underlying surface itself (cracks, fading, worn finishes) that were present before our service
• Areas where we documented in writing or by photo at the time of service that a complete result was not achievable

To make a claim under the guarantee, contact us by text, phone, or email within the applicable guarantee window (immediately for the Smooth Finish Promise, within 90 days for the Curb Appeal Guarantee). Send us a photo of the area. We will schedule a return visit at no charge.

Information on our website

We work hard to keep the information on our website accurate. However:

• Prices shown on the website are starting price ranges only. Final pricing is provided by quote, customized to your specific property, surface, condition, and any add-ons.
• Service area boundaries on the website are approximate. Whether we can service your specific property is confirmed at the quote stage.
• Before-and-after photos shown on our website represent actual results from past customers, but individual results vary depending on surface type, age, condition, and other factors. We do not guarantee that your results will match the photos shown.
• Information about services and pricing is subject to change without notice.

Your use of the website

When you use our website, you agree NOT to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or our systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the site except for legitimate search engine indexing

If you submit photos of your property, you grant us permission to use anonymized versions of those photos (with no identifying information about you or your address) in our marketing materials. If you do not want your photos used this way, tell us at any time and we will exclude them.

Our website may link to third-party websites or display content from third parties (such as Google Reviews, social media, or mapping services). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party sites.

Disclaimer of warranties

Our total liability for any claim related to the website is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for services in the past 12 months.

This limitation does not apply to liability for our services performed at your property, which is governed by the service agreement made when you book a job and by applicable Michigan consumer protection law.

Indemnification

If your use of the website causes us to be sued or face a claim from a third party, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from that claim, except where the claim arises from our own negligence or misconduct.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing any legal action, we both agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by direct communication for at least 30 days.

Severability

If any part of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any written quote or service agreement we provide you when you book a job, form the entire agreement between you and Butter Wash Co. regarding your use of the website.

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after the update means you accept the new terms.
